Frequently Asked Questions

 

Since this site is pretty much new, there really aren’t questions being asked frequently, so these are mostly questions i anticipate being asked. As the site reaches more people and questions are asked, this page will be expanded.

Q: Is this site only for japanese books? A: No, the main objective of this site is to archive Digimon books and printed media, no matter the language. The reason why currently the site lists mostly japanese books is due to how accesible the info about these books are, and that i was able to buy some of them.

Q: Why are some books marked as “Not Available” and others as “Coming Soon“? A: The books marked as “Not Available” are books that haven’t been contributed and i don’t own. Books marked as “Coming Soon” are books that i own and in the future plan on scanning and uploading to the site.

Q: I have scans of a book that isn’t on the site, but they aren’t mine, can i contribute them? A: Yes, with a caveat. While i’d prefer that only those who own the scans would contribute them, people can submit scans to this site as long as they credit the original poster and/or can confirm that they have permission to share them.

Q: Can i post the scans from this web on other sites or archives? A: That depends on the scans. The ones provided by me, Kyamos the Stubborn, can be shared and re-uploaded anywhere, as long as they are credited to me or Digimon Library and aren’t being used for profit. As for the scans contributed to the site, that would depend on whether the contributor gives their permission for that (that can be found in the “details” of the book).

Q: Which books were scanned by you and which are scanned by others? A: Books contributed by others will state the nickname of the contributor in the “Details” tab of the book. Books posted by me will lack a contribution nickname or permission message in the details.

Q: Will the site only be available in english and spanish? A: For the time being, yes. Though i’d love to have the site accesible in other languages such as japanese, korean and chinese, that costs money that i currently can’t afford to pay. My hope is that in the future, i can make it possible.
